Great traditional pub. Really good atmosphere and was understanding to out circumstances as we held a wake there that catered for about 40 people. We had a buffet that was nicely spread with tea and coffee provided. Would definitely do something there again. Thanks to Lee and all the staff. I had lots of positive feedback

I popped in and had a roast here today. I’m veggie so chose the quorn fillet (best to book ahead) the veg was lovely, clearly not frozen as suggested by another review, my faves were the roasted parsnip and the broccoli cheese. I had the small roast and it was delicious. Also on offer was beef and pork. I would definitely recommend this place. I’ve also been previously for a pizza in a Friday that Waldo delicious. The waiting staff are polite, friendly and approachable. Well done to the new Robartes team 10/10

Great place and a fine pint . Keltec Brewery having been going for a few years now , 1997, and they produce some very fine beers and lagers . If in Cornwall please drink this .. let’s support local breweries and all the people who , directly or indirectly work for them . Lee and his staff are amazing . A very friendly pub indeed . I’d be proud to call this my local , if I didn’t live over 250 miles away .

Went here while in holiday after looking for a pub that served food in the area. Sadly they no longer serve food, but we're happy for us ti bring a takeaway in to eat.(we didn't because all of the local takeaways had poor reviews) however. The staff were great, friendly and accommodating. The bar had plenty of seating and a pool table. The best part of our evening was the band that happened to be playing that night, they made our evening and we stayed until the end. Great pub, would be 5 star if they did food too.

What an awesome place. 10/10 would recommend. We had a blast. I would love to go here once or twice a week. After 5 minutes we had some conversation going. It was such an awesome evening I would love to repeat.

We were staying in our campervan just down the road for 4 nights. We went in 3 of the days! On sunday they had a charity event which was great. The whole community came to the pub. A real family pub with a great atmosphere. I cant comment on food as the day we wanted to eat, they weren't serving food, however the barman Pat kindly pointed out the local Indian takeaway and encouraged us to bring a takeaway into the pub and he would get us plates ! Really impressive and a proper cornish family pub

May I say that the Robartes Arms is looking fabulous outside. It looks like a great family village pub. I popped in here for a drink. Had the chicken wings and chips. The chicken wings were really nice. I would definitely order them again. Friendly pub, mice atmosphere. All in all a great experience.

The Robartes Arms is the beating heart of Illogan, a family friendly atmosphere that offers visitors and locals the same warm welcome. The landlord and family set out to make sure it remained a true village pub and they have 100% achieved this with the banter, atmosphere and genuine heart that welcomes all. I’ve found my new ‘not so local’ and I will definitely be back when I’m next in Cornwall. A highlight of any travellers trip, go and meet the Robartes Arms family for a true Cornish hug.
